ABOUT OUR FOUNDER
Chris moved to Reno in 1972 and has been highly involved in the growth of the Northern Nevada community. After building a career in government affairs for over 25 years, he founded Barrett Resources in 2009 to help his clients achieve their goals.
Chris has an outstanding track record as a government affairs and issue management professional in Nevada. He also has extensive experience in the field of development, dealing with complex issues such as entitlement and zoning.
As president of Barrett Resources, Chris takes that expertise and applies it to others’ business needs and goals. Often acting as a conduit between a governmental entity and a business, Chris is a consummate problem solver who lives off results and accomplishments.
Chris served as Campaign Manager for former Mayor Bob Cashell, aiding in day-to-day management, coalition building, campaign design, direct mail, opposition research, and strategy in Bob’s three elections over the period of 12 years.
Chris has provided government and community relations representation in both the local government and State Legislative arenas throughout Northern California and Nevada.
